Although Port Royal Plantation is strictly a residential neighborhood, some condos are available for long-term rental only. There are, however, a number of Port Royal condos located just outside the main gate that do allow short term rentals, so these properties are great for a second beach home or for a rental income property.
Barony Woods Villas, for permanent residences or long-term tenants only, are located just outside of Port Royal Plantation on a quiet street behind the Hilton Head Island government building. This mid-island complex sits on the Port Royal Golf Course with spectacular views of the course and lagoons, and is just a short walk to the beach path for beach access. What a great location! These townhome villas are very spacious, up to 4 bedrooms.
Other Port Royal condos located outside the main gate of Port Royal Plantation are available for short term rental.
Short term rental properties include Port Royal Tennis Beckenham villas, located next to but outside of the residential section of Port Royal Plantation. Units are available in both single-story and townhouse configurations, with 2 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 4 baths. They have dedicated parking and courtyards for privacy. Amenities include a Community Pool on the premises and a short walk to the beach.
Crown Reef Villas in Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island are great villas for short term rentals for golf and tennis lovers. They are located right next to the Port Royal Racquet Club and also near the Port Royal Golf Course. The beach is within walking distance, but there is also a courtesy shuttle to take you to the beach or Westin Hotel and back. Crown Reef Villas are new and all have a large back porch with great wooded or golf course views. There is a community outdoor pool and hot tub within the complex. Although these Villas are in Port Royal Plantation, they are not within the guard-gate.
Port Royal Tennis Devonshire villas are located next to but outside of the residential section of Port Royal Plantation, allowing short-term rentals. Units are available in single-story flats, either upstairs or down, with 2 to 3 bedrooms and 2 to 3 bathrooms. They have dedicated parking and courtyards for privacy. The Links Villas, with short-term rentals allowed, are spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath golf-view flats in duplex buildings with private 2-car parking in your own garage or carport! Community pool and clubhouse, security gate and close beach access in Port Royal make the Links a great place for a primary home or income generated investment property.
The Lyons Villas are newer, spacious duplex townhomes a short stroll to the nearby Folly Field beach. These townhomes have up to 4 bedrooms and are great for larger families. They allow short term rentals, so these properties are great for a permanent beachside residence or for rental income. There is a community outdoor pool and hot tub within the complex, covered parking, and covered back decks. The grounds are very well manicured and make for a beautiful setting and view.
The Port Royal Tennis Village House is a 4-story building with a lobby and a coded private elevator. Covered and curbside parking is available for property owners and their guests. Penthouse suites have 3 bedrooms and 4 baths, and flats are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Short-term rentals are allowed. Amenities include a community pool on the premises and a short walk to the beach.
